Submit Your Own Artwork for Printing at Pro Design Cresting Ltd.

Do you have an existing design you would like to have printed? Are you creating something special for an event? Want to showcase your artwork on a series of shirts? We can help! Many of our clients create their own designs and then send them to us for professional printing. On this page you will find more information about the format your files will need to be in. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you're designing your own files, there are some important details to be aware of:

  • We require VECTOR file formats (eps, ai, cdr) for all supplied design files. These would be created in programs such as Adobe, Illustrator or Corel Draw. Read about the difference between Vector files and Raster in the section below.
  • Spot Colors should be used from the Pantone Solid Coated color library. We prefer colors found in the lower numerical end of the library. (See the link below for a full list of the Pantone swatch library we use.)
  • Fonts are converted to outline prior to sending.

Raster vs. Vector

Vector

Vector Files

Vector files are perfect for silk screening and embroidery. They provide crisp, clean lines, editable content, and can be resized infinitely without loss in quality. These are created in programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw.

Vector File Types: ai, eps, pdf, or cdr

Raster

Raster Files

Rasterized files are what you would typically see with photographs. These are based on a pixel system, when enlarged the small square pixels can be seen. Their sizes are restricted to the initial creation size. These file types are usually found with image files as noted below.

Raster File Types: jpeg, png, TIFF, gif

Accurate Color Representation

If your company has specific branding in place, make sure to include the pantone colors and fonts associated with your brand. The Pantone Color Numbering System is used in graphic design and product production around the world. This is the standard followed universally to provide color consistency.

If you are creating something from scratch, make sure to utilize the Pantone Solid Coated color library for accurate color reproduction.

It is important to note that the color seen on screen and in print can differ as screen color and brightness can differ from computer to computer.
